David Grusch’s Startling Statement on Sentient Plasmoid Life
posted Jun 20, 2026
“... it’s a continuum from corporeal bipedal type life to what I would consider sentient plasmoid life. But there are several [species] that the US government is aware of.”
During the June 9, 2026 UAP/NHI press conference on Capitol Hill, former US Air Force officer and intelligence official David Grusch made a remarkable statement regarding the US government’s secret acknowledgment of the existence of sentient non-human entities. When a reporter asked how many alien types have been identified, Grusch said matter-of-factly: “I don’t have the compendium [that I can present to you today, however,] it’s a continuum from corporeal bipedal type life to what I would consider sentient plasmoid life. But there are several [species] that the US government is aware of.”
A search for “plasmoid life”, utilizing Google’s Gemini AI, yields the following information:
A plasmoid is a self-contained, glowing magnetic structure of plasma (the fourth state of matter). In both UAP/UFO discussions and science fiction, plasmoids are often speculated to be non-biological, energy-based extraterrestrial lifeforms or atmospheric "critters" that exist independently of carbon and DNA.
The UAP/Extraterrestrial Theory
In recent UFO and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) discussions, officials and researchers have proposed that some “orbs” or glowing spheres are not nuts-and-bolts spacecraft, but intelligent, self-organizing plasma.
- The “Living Plasma” Hypothesis: Some researchers hypothesize that self-illuminating, pulsating plasmoids represent a “fourth domain of life” capable of self-replicating, communicating, and reacting intelligently to their environment.
- Whistleblower Claims: In Congressional briefings and public discussions regarding non-human intelligence, officials like David Grusch have explicitly distinguished between traditional "corporeal bipedal life" (the classic Gray alien) and “sentient plasmoid life”.
- Scientific Consensus: Despite these speculations, the mainstream scientific community considers plasma-based life unproven, noting that most sightings of “plasmoid aliens” are likely atmospheric phenomena or camera artifacts (such as lens flare and focusing errors on distant points of light).
Regardless of scientists’ assumptions about the actual nature of plasmoids, in the course of my decades-long research on the link between UAP and nuclear weapons, I have occasionally been approached by seemingly credible persons who’ve described their encounters with plasma-like orbs that appeared to possess consciousness, which telepathically communicated with them. Two of these individuals are internationally-renowned figures who have asked me not to reveal their names. In fact, none of the persons who have described their sentient orb experiences to me wish to be publicly identified. The Stigma Factor, alas.
One woman who approached me in 2022, who I will call Amanda—a respected administrator in the information technology field—described her sentient orb experience this way:
It was sometime in the Fall of 1992, but I didn’t record the exact date; as with many other strange things in my life, it didn’t seem that important. My husband and I were planning to go out for dinner and we were walking to the front door. He opened it and I walked outside. Then, all of a sudden, he turned around and said he had forgotten something and that he’d be right out. I told him I’d meet him in the car, so I walked to the right side of our two-car driveway where the car was parked and attempted to open the passenger door to sit inside and wait for him.
Unfortunately, the door was locked, so I took my purse, put it on the roof of the car, and walked around to the trunk. I waited and waited, but he still had not come out. I leaned up against the car and just looked up into the eastern sky. It was dusk and the stars were out. There were several of them, but I noticed that one was more of a golden color compared to the others, which seemed white.
In that instant, literally instantaneously, I was back at the passenger door of the car, staring at what I can only describe as an undulating orb in my neighbor’s front yard, no more than 30 feet away! It was hovering directly at my eye-level, completely still, about the size of a cantaloupe. It was a fiery reddish-orange, flickering and seemingly breathing. I’ve used the word “undulating” as it’s the only word I can find to describe it. It was like it was alive! I have oftentimes explained it as appearing how molten lava looks when you see it on TV.
As soon as I realized what I was looking at, I immediately heard a voice in my head say, “Don’t be afraid, I won’t hurt you.” I was astonished! I wasn’t afraid at all, just fascinated by what I was seeing. I immediately thought—or maybe the orb put this thought in my mind—to look at it really hard to see if there was a structure beneath the flames.
All I remember at this point was my simply staring right into it. It was like the orb and I were inside a clear bubble, protected from the outside world. It was strange, there was absolutely zero sound. No neighbors were outside, no kids playing, no cars in the distance on the highway, no birds, bugs, nothing. Total and complete silence. My neighborhood was there in the background, but it was hard to see, like it was muted, darkened, outside the bubble.
I had no awareness of the passage of time. I had no further telepathic messages from the orb. I was just transfixed and staring into it. The next thing I remember, I heard the front door open; my husband was coming out. The orb instantaneously took off between the houses in a westerly direction and went completely out of sight in a split second.
I stood there and pondered what I had just experienced. I thought to myself: How am I going to explain this to my husband? But I don’t recall acknowledging him when he came to the car. Again, I had no sense of time, or how long it took for him to come out. I don’t remember getting into the car. The next thing I do remember was already being in the car, staring at the glove compartment as we drove down the street. It was dark by then.
I eventually did tell my husband the story, but he didn’t react. He just listened, and didn’t ridicule me, or question me. It was so strange.
I asked Amanda whether she thought the object might have been an ultra-sophisticated technological device of some kind. She responded, “I’d say that it seemed more biological in nature, more alive, like it was breathing or undulating. Basically, a ball of fire that telepathically communicated to me.”
I am currently writing a new book, Strange Encounters: The Spectrum of Alien Contact with Humans, in which I will present numerous witnesses’ accounts of their interactions with what appeared to be various types of extraterrestrial or interdimensional beings.
One category involves the plasmoid entities revealed by David Grusch. At this time, I am asking that persons who have had such encounters to contact me with their stories. My email address is ufohastings@aol.com. Anyone who does so may rest assured that their identity will be protected, unless I am given permission to publish it. Should I decide to include a summary of your narrative in my book, with your permission of course, I will submit the final draft to you before publishing it, so that you can review it for accuracy.
